The program will be screened from actual motion picture film-the way they were originally presented. Chaplin was born April 16th, 1889 in London, England.
Chaplin's comedies, which will appeal to all ages, will be shown at the Paul Robeson Center for the Arts, 102 Witherspoon Street, Princeton.
Film historian and archivist Bruce Lawton will introduce and present the films and provide "behind the scenes" information about Chaplin and his films. He will welcome questions and comments from the audience following the screening. The whole program will last approximately 90 minutes. As a special added attraction, an actual hat and cane that belonged to Chaplin and that he used in his films will be available to view at the event!
