Does anyone happen to know when FLESH & THE DEVIL was in production?

According to Silentera, Flesh and the Devil was shot from August 9 until September 28, 1926 and premiered on January 9, 1927 in New York.

I double checked the dates in Mark Viera's book on Garbo and they give the same ones.

...however, the AFI gives the general release date as 25 December 1926, and the film almost certainly played in Los Angeles during the last week of that year. Someone with access to the LA Times archive should look up Edwin Schallert's review from 26 Dec. and see if he indicates whether it has an engagement in one of the city's theatres.

Ah, the joys of these December/January release date conudrums!
