The Shasta County Arts Council presents their
5th Annual Silent Film Festival

October 22-23, 2010

There will be films on Friday and all Saturday, selected and projected by David Shepard. Melissa Talmadge Cox, the grand-daughter of Buster Keaton and Natalie Talmadge will introduce her grandparents in OUR HOSPITALITY and her great-aunt in the rarely-seen Constance Talmadge film THE PRIMITIVE LOVER. Other highlights include the silent CHICAGO, Rin-Tin-Tin's THE NIGHT CRY, and WINGS -- all from film, all on the big screen.

Live piano accompaniment by Frederick Hodges and Rodney Sauer. Hodges will perform his reconstruction of the J.S. Zamecnik score for WINGS.
