As some of you are aware the russian film archive handed over a copy fo the arab as part of the first instalemnt of films to come from Russia. I think they went to either the Library of Congress or UCLA. Does anyone know if they are restoring these digital prints and releasing them ?????

I think they went to LOC. Beyond that, who knows.... I don't recall reading anything about restorations or DVD releases etc.

As for The Arab, is this version a complete version? I was told this was shown at Pordenone and the last reel was missing.
