It's joyous creations like this that make me so glad that they invented the Internet.

I hadn't realised there's a whole cult out there of the Way Out West mashups. I once attended a fascinating lecture at the Royal College of Music where it was argued that you could put virtually any piece of film to any piece of music, because our brains create the synchronisation, as we instinctively seek to match the movements we see to the sounds we hear.

And so you get just as good results with:

Soulja Boy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xiWUCfHaJHQ
The Archies: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QgwuHYSoiAg (colourised, sorry)

Kaiser Chiefs: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p95bJhOt4Xw

and many more

Every song can be sung to "Greensleeves."

I'd love to read the script on that one.

It is the stuff that very, very strange dreams are made of.

It's distracting & disturbing. Makes me want to yell to somebody, "Hey turn down that radio...there's a Laurel & Hardy movie on!"
